Before you can walk down the aisle, you need to find the right aisle for your wedding! Selecting the right Adelaide wedding venue is such a big task, and we know it’s something that can take couples months to organise. To narrow your search, it helps to think about exactly what kind of venue you’d like.
We have plenty of gorgeous beach wedding venues in Adelaide, but there are also plenty of romantic farms, gardens, wineries, and churches. Ask yourself where you’d feel more comfortable: in a chapel or with your toes in the sand?
Many couples also like to get married in places with sentimental meaning, like the location where they had their first date. Oh, and also remember to think of your loved ones! While it’s ultimately your day, it’s a good idea to take into account travel distance and location, especially if you have elderly family members.
We’re lucky enough to shoot weddings in a wide range of locations, so here are our favourite Adelaide wedding venues for both garden and winery weddings – plus, how to book them.
How to book the best Adelaide wedding venues
First, some words of wisdom on how to book your venue. Our top advice is that popular venues can book up seriously early – some fill up two to three years in advance, especially in the warmer months. (And yes, you can still have an amazing Adelaide wedding outdoors in the summer heat!)
Once you’ve found a venue you like the look of, send an enquiry to arrange an inspection and to learn more about their wedding packages. When you’re there, take a good walk around and try to get a feel for the place. Often, you’ll visit a wedding venue and get those ‘This is it!’ vibes – trust us, you’ll know the feeling when it hits you!
Most venues will require a signed contract and a deposit to lock in your date.
